Inside Pack 325
Welcome to PACK 325.  We are a small pack in numbers only.  We have a group of high spirited Scouts.  Small in numbers, large at heart.
Our Pack meets every 4th Monday of the month at the Dysart Geneseo Elementary School.
We are part of the Tamaha District which is part of the Mid Iowa Council.
Our dens meet twice a month or more often.  Our leaders are all comprised of family members.
Adults are always welcome to volunteer as leaders or just to help out at events.
We do a school night for scouting every September to sign up new and returning scouts.  But boys are welcome to join any time throughout the year.  It's best to get in early so you don't miss out on too much fun!
What does it take to join?  Glad you asked.  Boys from 1st grade to 5th grade and no older than 11 years, are eligible for scouts.
1st graders will start as Tiger Cubs.  Tiger Cub dens require an adult partner for each Cub.  This is to get the partners involved in scouting and to make the transition into scouting as pleasant as possible for the scouts.  Tiger Cubs wear an orange t-shirt with the Tiger Cub logo on the front.  They will earn achievement beads to wear on their belt.
2nd graders graduate to Wolf Cubs.  Wolf Cub dens do not require an adult partner (though they are welcome to participate).  Wolves wear the navy blue Cub Scout uniform and earn beads and patches to show their achievements.
3rd graders graduate to Bear Cubs.  Bear Cubs also wear the navy blue Scout uniform and earn beads and patches to show their achievements.
4th and 5th graders become Webelos.  Their final step to the Arrow of Light and becoming Boy Scouts.  They wear either the blue Cub Scout uniform or they can wear the tan Boy Scout uniform with their distinctive plaid neckerchief.
For information on joining contact on of the Committee members or the Cubmaster or Assistant Cubmaster.
